The USRP1 is a SDR radio system made by ettus.com. It is USB 2.0 controlled and can hold up to two RX and two TX boards, or two transceiver (TRX) boards. An Altera Cyclone FPGA controls a 64 MS/s dual ADC and a 128 MS/s dual DAC. The basic clock is 64 MHz, however usage for OpenBT requires a 52 MHz high precision clock that has to be fed externally.
Recommended RF daughterboards are RFX1800 (what can be converted to a
900 MHz board by EEPROM reprogramming) or WBX (50-2200 MHz) in the not
any more manufactured versions prior to V3.
